Future Vision

To continue promoting and spreading a trauma-informed approach in Italy, offering content and courses that raise awareness and train more people on this important aspect of movement.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic practice method where breath and movement are interwoven in a continuous flow. It is based on predetermined sequences of postures, organized into progressive series that become more complex over time. The practice is intense and structured, yet still allows for individual adaptation. Popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century, Ashtanga is rooted in the teachings of Krishnamacharya and the concept of the eight limbs of yoga described by Patanjali. The coordination between breath and movement (Vinyasa), the focus of the gaze (Drishti), and the activation of specific energy locks (Bandha) guide the practice, creating an experience that engages both the body and mind. Ashtanga is often seen as physically demanding, but its value lies not only in the athletic component. The constant repetition of sequences provides a point of reference, allowing practitioners to observe changes in the body and self-awareness. It is a practice that can be adapted to individual needs, evolving into a journey of exploration and growth.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a practice that combines movement, breath, and body awareness with the aim of creating balance between strength and softness, stability and fluidity. It is a form of yoga that develops through postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and moments of relaxation, allowing for a gradual and respectful exploration of the body and its relationship with space. Originally designed as a system to prepare the body and mind for meditation, Hatha Yoga does not follow rigid sequences but adapts to the needs of the practitioner, offering a slower, more mindful approach compared to more dynamic styles. Breath becomes a constant guide, and the postures are held longer, helping to develop stability, mobility, and a deeper listening to one’s own sensations. Despite its ancient roots, Hatha Yoga is now an extremely versatile method, ideal for those seeking a way to move more attentively and present, without the need for physical performance, but with the intention of creating a more authentic dialogue with the body.

Pilates Matwork

Pilates Matwork is a bodyweight training method performed on a mat, focusing on movement control, spinal stability, and mobility. Breath guides each exercise, promoting improvements in strength, coordination, and postural alignment. Created by Joseph Pilates, this method is based on principles such as control, precision, and working from the center (Powerhouse), engaging the core, deep abdominal muscles, and pelvic floor. The exercises are performed with fluidity, avoiding jerky movements, and can be adapted to individual needs, making Pilates Matwork suitable for everyone, regardless of experience level. While the focus is on muscle strengthening, Pilates emphasizes the quality of movement, helping to improve posture and the relationship with the body in a progressive way.
